Damere R. Holloway, MS ABA, RBT

Damere Holloway is an in-home registered behavior technician who graduated from Capella in 2024 with an MS in Applied Behavior Analysis. He spends his days providing therapy to children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Holloway is also a published children’s author and entrepreneur, having founded the Omar the Owl Autism Awareness Campaign and book series. Through main characters Omar and Ollie, the book series raises awareness about autism and promotes empathy and support. The campaign seeks to help foster a more inclusive society by encouraging conversations and understanding within the community.

In this edition of the Voyager, we are thrilled to spotlight Dr. Lisa Kreeger, the Executive Dean of our School of Nursing and Health Sciences (NHS), whose remarkable journey exemplifies interdisciplinary excellence and visionary leadership.

Dr. Kreeger's professional path is a testament to her versatility and depth of expertise. She initially contributed to the School of Business and Technology as a member of the Institutional Review Board before seamlessly transitioning to NHS, where she has served as a faculty member, program chair, and interim dean.

Her professional narrative is distinguished by a rare blend of clinical insight and strategic acumen. Rooted in her background as a clinical nurse, Dr. Kreeger has cultivated a distinctive career that bridges healthcare, education, and business. Her executive experience includes roles as a business consultant and leadership positions in international corporations, where she drove transformative initiatives focused on strategic innovation and organizational development.

With extensive experience in both traditional and online higher education settings, Dr. Kreeger brings a comprehensive understanding of contemporary educational landscapes. Her leadership promises to propel the School of Nursing and Health Sciences forward, ensuring we remain responsive to the evolving demands of healthcare professionals.

Under her guidance, NHS is not just adapting to change – we are actively shaping the future of healthcare education.
